We want to make sure you're covered for whatever happens down the road.
What Does It Cover?
Our Lifetime Powertrain Warranty mirrors the factory powertrain warranty. It covers repairs to:
- The Engine
- The Transmission
- Drive Axle Assemblies
- All internally lubricated parts for both 2, 4 and all-wheel
- All seals and gaskets
As an added bonus, it also provides:
- Complimentary towing coverage when a covered component fails
- A complimentary inspection every 3 years
What Vehicles Are Covered?
All new Ford vehicles purchased at our dealership are covered PLUS many of our pre-owned vehicles. At this time, it does not cover any commercial vehicle purchases.
Does It Only Cover Repairs Done at Karl Flammer Ford?
No, you can even choose where you have your vehicle serviced. Karl Flammer Ford does provide your 1st year of maintenance free, so you can experience our award-winning service facility, but the powertrain warranty is valid throughout the US and Canada and is accepted at any authorized repair facility.

Does the Lifetime Powertrain Warranty Expire?
Provided you take care of your vehicle's regular maintenance, you will be covered under the Lifetime Powertrain Warranty for as long as you own the vehicle. There's no mileage limit or expiration date.
What's the Catch?
There are no catches, gimmicks or gotchas. Not even any crazy maintenance requirements. There are not even any limits on where or how far you can drive.
What are the Maintenance Requirements for the Lifetime Powertrain Warranty?
The maintenance requirements are easy. You don't have to jump through any hoops, simply follow the manufacturer's guidelines and you'll remain eligible for the warranty.
This means you need to have regular oil changes, tire rotations, and other standard maintenance items to ensure you keep your vehicle running correctly. You will also need to come in every three years for your complimentary inspection to ensure your vehicle remains in perfect working order.
We've included your 1st year of maintenance absolutely free, so we'd love for you to bring your vehicle back to Karl Flammer Ford; however, you are welcome to take it to any authorized repair facility.

Are There Any Extra Maintenance Requirements?
No, just follow the manufacturer's recommended maintenance outlined in your owner's manual.
Do I Have To Use The Service Department At Karl Flammer Ford For The Required Maintenance?
It isn't required, but we have included your 1st year of maintenance so be sure to take advantage of it! If you don't use Karl Flammer Ford for your service, you must use a licensed repair facility and keep your receipts.
Is there any deductible for a Warranty Claim?
Should a powertrain repair be necessary, there is a very reasonable $100 deductible if you bring your vehicle to be serviced at Karl Flammer Ford. The deductible is $500 at any other authorized repair center.
If I Sell My Vehicle Is The Warranty Transferable?
The warranty does not transfer to another owner if the vehicle is sold. The warranty is registered to you, as our valued customer.
