2023 Ford Mach-e vs Honda Prologue

Ford has announced that the Mustang Mach-E will start at $46,895. Honda, on the other hand, hasn’t said how much its upcoming crossover EV will cost. But we expect it to have a similar MSRP, starting around $45,000.

One of the best reasons to choose the Mustang Mach-E is for its quick, agile performance. Power and speed (as well as battery range) vary slightly between trim models, but each Mustang Mach-E is designed for a fun-loving ride. The GT Performance Edition is especially impressive, shooting from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds.

We know that the Honda Prologue will feature the Ultium battery pack, but that’s about all we know. Designed in conjunction with General Motors, the Ultium was designed for longevity. The Prologue’s battery range will probably be between 250 and 320 miles, perhaps matching the Mustang Mach-E’s max battery range of 312 miles.

Inside, every Mustang Mach-E treats you to the finer things. The standard list of features includes vegan leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat. All but the base model include a panoramic fixed-glass roof and Ford’s BlueCruise hands-free driving system.

Other than what we can see in promotional photos, we don’t know much about the Honda Prologue’s interior. What we can see looks great, however, including a neatly arranged dash and an 11.3-inch touchscreen. It will likely offer many of the same upscale options as its Ford counterpart, such as heated front seats and driver’s seat memory settings.

The Mustang Mach-E borrows iconic style from the Mustang sports coupe, including its trademark long snout and tri-bar tail lamps. In addition to delivering an agile and aerodynamic ride, this Ford EV is very good-looking.

Meanwhile, the upcoming Honda Prologue has more of a rugged-looking exterior. But that means it looks a lot like other crossover models. The Prologue doesn’t exactly stand out in a crowd, unlike the Mustang Mach-E.
