Anyone with substantial amounts of cargo or a crowd of people to transport can use a Ford Transit! This work van bests competitors with its wide range of configurations, sturdy engine options, and — for such a big van — very impressive maneuverability.
There are three main types of Transit van: Cargo Van, Crew Van, and Passenger Van. Naturally, the Transit that you need will vary according to what you want in a commercial van. Like the name suggests, the Cargo Van was designed for businesses that make deliveries. But it can also be upfitted to cater to anyone who makes house calls, like an electrician or plumber.
The Crew Van splits the difference between passenger and cargo space. Inside, you’ll find up to five seats for your work crew, with plenty of cargo space for your company’s equipment behind the second row.
With the Passenger Van, you can transport up to 15 passengers wherever they wish to go. Thanks to the Transit’s many configurations, the Passenger Van offers a wide variety of configurations (seating for five, eight, 10, 12, 14, or 15), leaving you to decide on the exact amount of seats you require. The Passenger Van is the only model that’s available in two trim levels, XL and XLT.
